I absolutely love helping people learn and I’ve dedicated most of my career to it. Starting first in Human Resources and then moving into L&D soon after, where I discovered my true calling.
I believe the environments we create and the energy they hold is what makes all the difference with learning. A lot of what I do is about listening and encouraging others to do the same, tuning in to what’s said and unsaid, and guiding people towards more meaningful conversations and outcomes.
Community building is a big part of what I do and I’m really passionate about giving back to the industry by bringing HR, L&D and OD professionals together to collaborate, develop and learn.
I co-founded #LnDcowork in 2015, a coworking initiative that has grown into a thriving community holding regular events across the UK. In 2024 I co-founded the annual HR Leaders Unconference and in 2025 I became Head of Community for the Women in HR network, a nationwide platform for senior HR professionals to connect, share advice and celebrate success.
When I’m not focused on the day job, I’m also a yoga teacher with over 500 hours of training in Hatha, Restorative Yoga, and Somatics. There’s a lot of crossover between yoga and what I do with my clients, being more present in the moment and using quietness to inspire curiosity sits behind both activities. When we take time to stop and reflect, our minds open to new possibilities.
If your organisation is facing change or looking for a shift in momentum then I’d love to chat.

What my clients say
Thoughtful, considered and held boundaries very well
We were really happy with the way in which Fiona facilitated our Executive Team Away Days. She took time to really understand our needs and to consider the right approach for our team. Her facilitation was excellent – she was thoughtful, considered and held boundaries well. She rapidly acquired a good understanding of our individual and collective needs. We changed our agenda for the second day based on how conversations evolved during day one – she led and partnered really effectively with me on that and we all appreciated her flexibility to ensure a productive 2 days. She also provided really helpful summary notes and reflection points afterwards. We would definitely work with her again

Fiona’s supportive, inquiry-based style allows space for people to find their own direction
We look for partners who inspire and enable long-term behavioural change and this is where Fiona really excels. Whether through facilitation or individual coaching, Fiona’s supportive, inquiry-based style allows space for people to find their own direction and take control of their development. She loves to explore new ways of doing things – not innovation for the sake of it but to find the best possible ways of helping people become better at what they do. Try one of her unconferences and you’ll see what I mean!

Her insights and guidance have been a real game changer
I’ve been so fortunate to have Fiona as a mentor – her insights and guidance have been a real gamechanger for me. Over the course of our sessions, Fiona has helped me not only refine my leadership style, but she’s opened up new opportunities and helped me to grow my L&D network. Fiona’s invaluable advice helped me to address my challenges, building up my confidence as a leader, as well as helping me to design more effective learning initiatives. Finally, what stands out most about Fiona is how approachable and supportive she is. I am incredibly grateful to Fiona as not only is she incredibly knowledgeable, she’s genuinely invested in helping you succeed. I can’t recommend Fiona enough to anyone looking for mentoring guidance in leadership, learning design, or professional growth!

The people aspect was always the top of the agenda
Fiona was an invaluable support to the organisation over a period of fairly significant change. Her patience, empathy and understanding meant that the team felt confident sharing their thoughts and concerns about the changes. Her challenge and questioning ensured that the people aspect was always the top of the agenda for the leadership team.

Her warmth, empathy and ability to get to the heart of the challenge
Fiona has collaborated with us on several projects, as a facilitator, coach and designer. What really shines through is how much she cares about people and helping them solve their biggest problems – her warmth, empathy and ability to get to the heart of someone’s challenge, then support them to overcome it is truly impressive. She gives people space to find their own direction and take accountability for their development and actions in a way that is meaningful and motivating for them. A great fit for us, as we focus on supporting people and organisations to get better at what they do through long term behavioural change.

Looking at strategic solutions to a business challenge
I recently engaged Fiona to work as part of a small team to co-facilitate two sessions. The first was for my leadership team looking at a strategic solutions to a business challenge and the second was a cross sector team to encourage collaboration and joint working. Fiona is an asset to any event, she is professional, respectfully challenging and brings energy and enthusiasm along with her insight and facilitation skills. I would highly recommend Fiona to support other business with their development needs.

A lot of fun to work with
Fiona is a lot of fun to work with and has a great deal of practical knowledge which she shares in a helpful, down to earth way. She makes topics that can easily scare managers accessible and interesting, taking the sting out of all the challenges of day-to-day management and building confidence as well as management skills. We have worked with many management trainers over the years, and Fiona is among the very best.

Extracts honesty that drives profound levels of learning
We have had the good fortune to work with Fiona on a number of high profile client programmes and found her to be a truly excellent addition to our team. Firstly, Fiona is very intelligent and able to quickly grasp the context of the client’s industry sector along with the unique challenges they may be facing. She is able to connect rapidly with delegate teams, talking their language, which commands impact and presence. Secondly, Fiona is a first class facilitator who is able to use a broad range of skills to draw out a depth of honesty in everyone that drives profound levels of learning. I very much hope we will have the opportunity to work with Fiona much more in the future.
